CLIFF STRUMMING UP SUPPORT FOR GUITAR AID
The news that Sir Cliff has become patron for Guitar Aid has received much media attention. (above feature from Gear mag) Everywhere it is reported, the common reaction is, “What a brilliant person to have as patron!” For 20 years we have been giving guitars. I feel so much of God’s favour on the work of Guitar Aid. We are absolutely delighted that Sir Cliff Richard OBE, has agreed to become our Patron. This has come at a time when he is turning down many requests. We consider it a privilege that someone of his standing has been willing to put his name to the work of filling the World with the sound of praise!

SPONSORING WORSHIP LEADERS
For the last 10 years, our major sponsorship has come from Guitar Aid supporters giving £39 to cover the price of a guitar. Due to increase in cost and our desire to give better instruments, it’s now only possible to buy an electro acoustic guitar, suitable for life groups and small churches for this price.
Our desire is to provide a worship leader with the equipment needed to fulfill the desire to praise God. We are now encouraging individuals to be part of what we are doing, by sponsoring a worship leader each year.
£7 a month will allow us to empower an individual to receive a top quality guitar, gig bag, strap, lead, all they need to raise the level of worship in their community.
These instruments are ideal for large Churches or national events. They come with a built in electronic tuner!
GUITAR AID CELEBRATION DAY
To celebrate Guitar Aid’s 20th birthday, we have invited Marian Lipovsky, to come to Riverside Christian Centre Exeter. Our celebration day is Sunday 5th December. Marian is the National Director of Youth for Christ, Slovakia. He heads up Campfest, which is their equivalent of Soul Survivor.
In the time we’ve known him, Marian has helped set up and encourage many worship leaders & bands, seeing hundreds of young people come to Christ through the Campfest events.
Thank you for your continued support and encouragement given to Guitar Aid, let’s keep moving forward, one step at a time, as God leads us!
