Autumn
2012

Hi There!

It’s been quite a strange year. As my brother John, who I have travelled with on missions since 1990, has had to take a year out due to health problems. This has made me realize how much we have done together. The main mission of the year became the trip to Macedonia, Kosovo & Albania.

Autumn
2010

Hi There!

It’s time for us to celebrate 20 years of Guitar Aid!  Who would have believed that from the first guitar given in 1990, that so many years later we would have given over 2250 instruments.

Autumn 2009

Hi There!

We have just returned from one of the most comprehensive missions we have been on.
Usually I show you pictures of delighted individuals receiving their new guitars. This time, I
would like to show you more of the environments, into which our instruments have been given, and the inspirational work of the missionaries we came alongside.

Summer 2008

What a brilliant year it has been so far. After operating Guitar Aid using the Church’s
charity number, what a blessing to have fulfilled all the necessary criteria required by the
Charity commission, and receive full Charity status. This is mainly thanks to the excellent
work of Paul Ashton (CEO of Prospects UK). Our number is 1122598

Spring
2007

My first mission in 1990 changed my life. It has been our desire to get others involved in looking beyond their own country. What could be better than introducing the young people from the Romanian Church we visit, with the youth of the Church in Hungary. For many of them it was the first time out of the country, a time they would never forget!

Summer 2006

We were first introduced to Missions in 1990 through INCARE (International care and relief). John Wildrian was the man who got us involved. It seemed quite natural, 16yrs later, to ask him, “Where in the world do they need our help the most?” Without hesitation the reply came back “BURKINA FASO in West Africa”.

Summer 2005

Few places we visit impact us as much as Cambodia. It seems like everyone wants to put the past behind them, no longer are we hearing the horror stories of their suffering, but now a great spirit of forgiveness is sweeping over the nation. This country has made tje transition from hurt to healing. It was our privelage to spend valuable time with them.

Summer 2003

The last 6 months have been really exciting, as over 100 guitars have been given. Previously this would have taken a year! The increase in giving has been due to the generosity of sponsors. Recently we have travelled to Romania, Hungary, Macedonia and Kosova as well as having visitors from various different countries.

You will be enriched so you can give even more generously.
And when we take your gifts to those who need them, they
will break out in thanksgiving to God
